Researching family history on the internet and elsewhere can be a lengthy and sometimes a costly business. Doing it well and in a cost effective way is a skill in its own right. By using Family History Research, as well as saving a lot of time, I believe I have also saved money by not having to subscribe to databases which can prove worthless. FHR presents its findings without delay and in a clear, detailed manner. In my view it represents excellent value.

I engaged Jason Goff of Family History Research to carry out research on my family tree in late 2010, as like so many other people, was extremely interested in obtaining a more detailed tree to the sporadic detail I already had.
I was at first a little uncertain about using someone unknown from the web again, as I had a previous rather bad experience with someone else online, but this is definitely not the case with Jason. He has communicated well, kept me up to date with progress, sent regular files over for review, informed me of any queries, given regular receipts for payments, and the family detail is coming together very concisely.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending Family History Research to anyone interested in Family History, I am certain they will be fully satisfied with the service.

Like others engaged in unlocking their families past, I'd had high quotes from professional genealogists and little success with self-help sites that seemed to exploit my lack of experience.
Jason Goff's quote was different. It was priced modestly and gave a clear indication of what he could produce for the fee quoted. These assurances were highlighted when he delivered in all aspects. The research was finished promptly and I was delighted with the result. In addition to the family tree in various styles, there were copies of birth certificates, entries in various census records and shipping passenger lists to download. My favourite was the individual summary report which revealed so much of the families living locations, activities and occupations, and that really made it all come to life. Thanks Jason.
